1. The licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use lili AI Router on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, which apply to this app as a product distributed through the App Store. You may not redistribute the app, reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits, or use it to build a competing service by scraping it.

2. Your accounts with AI providers

The app is a client, not a service. When you enter an API key, you are using your own account with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral or whoever else, under their terms and at their prices. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your keys secure and revoking them if a device is lost.
• Everything billed to those accounts. We never see your usage and cannot refund it.
• Complying with each provider's acceptable use policy.

3. What models produce

Language models are wrong sometimes, confidently. We neither generate nor review the output shown in the app, and we make no warranty about its accuracy, safety or fitness for any purpose. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions without qualified human judgement. Content you send, and content produced in reply, are between you and the provider or model you chose.

4. On-device models

Models you download from Hugging Face are published by third parties under their own licences, which you accept when you download them. We do not host, modify or vouch for any model file. Running a large model will use significant memory, storage, battery and heat on your device; the app estimates the memory cost in advance, but an estimate is what it is.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

• Break any law, or infringe anyone's rights.
• Generate material that sexually exploits children, or that incites violence against people.
• Circumvent the safety measures or usage limits of a provider you connect to.
• Attack, probe or overload any service, including through the Mac app's API server.

6. The Mac API server

The Mac app can run a local HTTP server that exposes your configured providers to other programs. Turning it on, generating access keys and deciding whether to share it on your local network are your choices, and the consequences — including any provider usage billed through it — are yours. Share it only on networks you trust.

7. Advertising

The iPhone and iPad app is free and shows ads. The Mac app does not. Advertising never has access to your conversations. See the privacy policy for the detail.

8. No warranty, and limits on liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost data, or for charges you incur with a provider. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app — which, the app being free, is nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

9. Third-party components

The app includes open-source software, including llama.cpp and SwiftStreamingMarkdown, used under their respective licences. Their copyright notices are honoured in the distributed app.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change and continued use means acceptance. You may stop at any time by deleting the app. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
